Writing Workshop With Cary Tennis
The ABC Treehouse, Amsterdam
July 27th 2013 to July 28th 2013 (Saturday, Sunday) - 09:30 to 13:30
Break barriers and find fresh insights in an Amherst Writers and Artists workshop led by acclaimed Salon.com advice columnist Cary Tennis. The AWA method, developed by Pat Schneider and described in her book Writing Alone and With Others (Oxford University Press, 2003), allows writers to unlock powerful creative ideas and unleash deep emotions in a safe, relaxed setting.
In the workshop, Cary writes with people of all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to published professionals. The AWA method works for all genres. In the past we've had fiction writers, food writers, journalists, screenwriters, poets, sci fi writers and more. Writers who have used the AWA method have published major works and taken top prizes and awards in the U.S. and Ireland.
Cary Tennis writes the column Since You Asked, which appears daily on http://www.salon.com. He leads weekly AWA workshops online and at his home in San Francisco. He is author of the books Since You Asked and Citizens of the Dream.
