Play Dungeons and Dragons live in Amsterdam!

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Wizards of the Coast, makers of the famous Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game, are working together with local games stores to provide an in-store game for those who currently enjoy Dungeons and Dragons or who want to find out more about it.

D&D Encounters is a series of games that will be played world-wide, every Wednesday. Amsterdam sessions will take place March 17th to June 2nd at The American Book Center.
The series will form a ‘campaign’ in which every game session relates to the one that came before it. This arrangement allows players to fully explore the in-game characters they play, see them change as the story develops, and glory in their hard-fought victories. Continued participation will be rewarded by in-game and out-of-game benefits.

The event  is organized by the Netherlands Role-players Guild, (sponsored by ABC!) who run various types of events for experienced gamers and newcomers to the hobby.

Drop by the ABC’s first floor on a Wednesday night, from 6pm to 8pm to check it out. Everyone is welcome to join in! You can also check out one of the Netherlands Role-players Guild’s other free monthly events. There’s nothing required other than a steady wit and a strong imagination!”
