Thursday November 22nd is our favorite day of the year again: Thanksgiving Day!
This year we are especially grateful for you who have continued to support us for 40 years! And if you haven’t heard this yet: 40 is the new 30, so we are still jamming, full of energy, and making new plans for 2013.
A long-standing Thanksgiving Day tradition is that we give an EXTRA 10% discount to EVERYONE who buys something at ABC this day. If you normally already get 10% off with us, you’ll get 20% discount on all your purchases in our stores in Amsterdam and The Hague.
(Please do note that the discount is only on in-stock items – so no extra discount on books ordered that day (in the store or online), special orders that haven’t arrived yet and anything you want mailed to your home.)
As always, we’ll have balloons and candy (and, a tradition at ABC Amsterdam, free popcorn!).

Thanksgiving Dinner in the ABC Treehouse in Amsterdam
Join us for our homey annual Thanksgiving feast! We’ll have a delicious traditional menu to share while The Blue Clay Honkers will preform for your musical enjoyment.
We’ll provide the basics: turkey, vegetarian main dish, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes and corn, and you’ll bring a starter or dessert to share. The cost is €20 (€5 for children under 10) including coffee and tea, soft drinks, wine and beer.
Dinner is from 17.30 until 19.30 hrs. Everyone is welcome but please do make a reservation so we know how much food to prepare, and do reserve your space on time as we can only accommodate a limited number of people.
