Oldish news, but this blog wouldn’t be complete without it: the longlisted books for this year’s Man Booker Prize.  The shortlist will be announced on September 11th, and the winner on October 16th.

Mantel will probably have 1 – 1 odds, and my vote for Best Cover goes to The Teleportation Accident.
