Awards! None other than Guus Kuijer will be awarded this year’s Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award! Most of us grew up with Kuijer’s many, many books, and feel he is very deserving of the award. Congratulations! Sadly there are no English translations of his work currently in print, but hopefully this will all change now.
